Workshops

Cedoux is an experienced arts facilitator and can offer a range of different workshops, which can be tailor made to meet the specific needs of any individuals and groups. He has experience of working with children, young people and elders, including people from refugee backgrounds, those with mental health issues and street children. Cedoux supports people who don't have confidence in their creative ability to express themselves through the arts.

HeArts and Dreams UK

 

Bespoke training and workshops using art and creativity to engage people with issues and questions around refuge, migration, mental health and well-being. Developed by Cedoux Kadima

Bright Beginnings, Leander community centre

 

This painting and drawing project took place over six weeks with a group of elders who were interested in developping artworks inspired by their passions.

Project Phakama, Queen Mary University of London. 

 

This was an artist in residency with Project Phakama UK at the 

Velela! was a two-week pop-up festival and creative residency in London for young artists. Marking international youth arts organisation Phakama’s fifteenth anniversary, Velela! took place from Saturday 16 to Saturday 30 June 2012 at Queen Mary and involved voices, talents, expertise and contributions from 100 young people from around the world.

And, Cedoux lead the the visual art workshop and the making of a massive map of the world, made with photo collage and acrylic on canvas. 

Saatchi gallery drawing workshop
 

This was a drawing workshop session during the exhibition "The journey of surviving to survive"at Saatchi gallery. The session was based on memories or souvenirs to create artwork with student from College St John.

 

 

Painting and drawing workshop
 

This was part of "Why Not" project which started in 2009 working with 8 - 12 years old children to raise awareness about child abuse and street children from DR Congo. 

The objective was and still to fight against the abandon of children on the streets from my home country to the whole world. And to promote education and protection for all children around the world.

 

 

Refugee Youth Film making workshop
 

This was a 2 days residential with a group of young people called "Solidarity Youth" from Hull City. The aim was to help  the young people to learn about film making and how to use film as tool to tell story and raise awareness.
